Popis:	The basic requirement of contemporary theory about the strict uniformity of the conditions of separation for obtaining the maximum possible efficiency in separation is not always confirmed by experimental checking. Retardation of the current contributes to an increase in the quality of separation. An increase in the efficiency is caused only by properly organized displacement of the current.
