Popis:	The physical meaning of the Avrami equation used to describe the kinetics of three-dimensional polymerization was analyzed. It was shown that a value of the power index n greater than unity just indicates the autoaccelerated mode of the reaction and is not necessarily related to the microgel mechanism of the process.
