Interoperability of Hospital Information Systems through the modeling of the Web Service 'Request for medical care'

Popis: Today, hospital information systems HIS need to collaborate, share and interoperate with other systems in order to optimize efforts in development repetition, reduce costs and errors. HIS overcome the same constraints as other information systems, the problem of interoperability represents an obstacle to HIS due to the heterogeneity and complexity of the management of health care and healthcare institutions. Currently, health professionals are aware of the constraints faced by HIS and are working to improve the quality of medical care for patients while adopting new strategies aimed at the interoperability of all HIS. When HIS are able to interoperate with each other, clinicians, managers and researchers will have access to the right information at the right time and place, leading to better results and above all fewer errors. It is in the spirit of providing a new solution for HIS interoperability that we are presenting a hybrid extensible model that allows HIS to interoperate with each other through the modeling of the "request for medical care" web service. This model uses a database DB hosted in the Cloud that will be called by the Web service via JSON queries to retrieve the information requested on the medical care of a patient in an XML file that will be transformed into a PDF file.
