Popis: | The object of this work was to study the properties of a group of sintered aging copper alloys for a preliminary evaluation of their properties and technological suitability. Specimens were prepared by cold compacting, sintering, repressing, and quenching, and were measured for their hardness, plasticity, electrical resistivity and strength. The properties of the specimens were measured immediately after quenching and cold deformation. Then they were aged. The obtained data made it possible to evaluate the contributions to the properties of the sintered alloys resulting from lattice distortions in cold forming separately from the quenched and aged states. A powder copper-zirconium hardener with 4% zirconium content was used. Diffractometry determined the correlation between the degree of lattice distortion of the alloy Cu-Ti and its electrical conductivity. Results can be used for choosing composition, physical properties, and technologies of sintering dispersion hardening alloys intended for electric contacts. |
