Popis: | This paper investigates the factors influencing user acceptance of eParticipation systems drawing experience not only from previous eParticipation research but also from the Information Systems domain. Subsequently, a model for eParticipation acceptance is constructed by integrating the concepts from TAM literature and eParticipation evaluation literature. The model is validated through statistical analysis and hypothesis testing based on the findings of a multi-national user survey (gathering 299 reliable responses through a structured online questionnaire) and findings are discussed. Finally, a revised model is proposed called ePAM, including TAM's main concepts of Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, and Behavioural Intention to Use, and the four additional concepts of Technological Confidence, Integration to Governmental Processes, Perceived Facilitating Conditions and Social Influences. |
