ISO/IEC 1511S, titled as V2G Communication Interface specifies the communication protocol between Electric Vehicles Communication Controller (EVCC) and the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Communication Controller (SECC). Based on power line communication (PLC), ISO/IEC 15118 Parts 1$\sim$3, were published in 2013, 2014, and 2015, respectively. ISO/IEC 1511S Part 8 and Part 1 Ed. 2 were published for wireless communication (IEEE 802.1\ln) in March 2018, April 2019, respectively. Newly revised standard of ISO/IEC 1511S Part 2 (now becomes Part 20) is currently under development for wireless communication and reverse power transfer (RPT). In this paper, important features on wireless communication and RPT, which are included in the newly added and revised standards for V2G communication interface, will be introduced. The remaining issues will be also discussed. |
