Popis: [enter Abstract Body]Purpose: This paper is about analyzing whether giving motivation to students affects them positively or negatively. Motivation basically depends on the goal achievement that the students may be allowed to conduct. This means the extent to which creative skills and competence of students are appreciated. Cameron & Pierce, 1994 are of view that generally, educators agree that motivation plays a role in literacy development. Much controversy exists today over the best way to manage student behavior and create positive learning environments Without intrinsic motivation to read, students may never reach their full potential as literacy learners. Methodology: The sample used was students of Hitec University, Sampling unit taken was 100 students and tool used was questionnaire. Analysis: An important factor that affects the motivation level is the extent to which students are duly given rewards and incentives for their efforts. Constructivist learning environments require students to synthesize the knowledge, make connection between new knowledge and previous knowledge and apply learned new knowledge into different situations. Results: If motivated to an extent of 52% through rewards and incentives, 48% students display positive feelings towards their institute and vice versa. Recommendations: The students need to be motivated by providing them more rewards and incentives. They should also be provided more encouragement to achieve their goals. This will result in positive behavior from them. A learning model carrying constructivist learning environment’ features and can be defined as “makes determined learning activities based on a question or a problem and after finishing these activities targets to emerge a model or product” is project based learning.
