Purpose: The authors of the article propose a neo-industrial paradigm for Russian corporations integration into the economic system in the context of the transition to the sixth technological paradigm. The process of corporate capital adaptation to the conditions of fierce spatial competition, the actions of mechanisms aimed at limiting access to financial and technological development resources is revealed, the specifics of the antagonism between the network and corporate forms of economic relations is reflected. Desing/methodology/approach: The authors sought to apply political-economic theory, theory of capital, institutional theory, dialectic and reproductive approaches, which they managed to a certain extent and made it possible to obtain significant scientific results. Basing on a synthesis of their predecessors’ scientific results, the authors studied the combination of the transformation processes of the Russian economy, accompanied by contradictions of corporate capital polarization, undermining systems development and restraining the reaction of corporate capital to changes in the external environment. Findings: The article highlights nuclear and peripheral zones of technological transformations, identifies system barriers to the spread of network structures in raw materials economy, proposes a number of directions for implementing the neo-industrialization policy, ensuring the innovative development of Russian corporations. The use of the possibilities of fictitious capital reproduction, restoration of public confidence in the national financial market, protectionist policies implementation, import substitution and reindustrialization are proposed as a source of additional development resources in conditions of low investment attractiveness. Originality/value: The reliability of scientific provisions is ensured by the use of modern methods of scientific research, the use of a representative sample, factual material, generalization of methodological and practical achievements. |
