Popis: | In recent years, there has been an upsurge of interest in the social aspects of medicine, with medicine and sociology cooperating in a number of studies of social factors in health and illness.1 Many of these studies2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 have presented data suggesting that there is a relationship between socioeconomic level and the incidence, prevalence, and treatment of mental illness. Further, in the preventive as well as in the treatment programs, similar relationships have been observed. |
