Popis: | Arrays of nanotubes or nanowires might be quite promising for auto-emission cathode applications while they possess high nanotube/nanowire density and a certain degree of ordering. In this work we studied the emission properties of TiO 2 nanotube arrays obtained by electrochemical anodization. The nanotube arrays were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy and optical spectroscopy. Our results hint on a strong correlation between emission properties and geometry (tube density, tube diameter, roughness) of unfilled titania nanotubes. |
