Popis: | The effect of loading rate on polymer wear in metal-polymer friction pairs is considered. Investigations show that at low loading rates the wear resistance of the polymer specimens increases, evidently owing to orientation of the elements of the molecular structure in the surface layer. This finding applies both to dry friction and friction with lubricants. |
