In rubber tree, most of clones selected early by combining the four physiological parameters of latex (Pi, Sac, Exs and R-SH ) that better explain productivity didn\'t express expected yield increasing at the old age. The efficiency of each of these physiological parameters to predict the yield of clones has been studied at the old age. Correlations have been subsequently established between the physiological parameters and the yield at the early stage of the selection (CCPE). Likewise, correlation have been established between the same physiological parameters recorded at the early stage (CCPE) and the predicted yield at the final step (CCGE) of selection. Sucrose and inorganic phosphorus exhibited best tendencies to predict yield potential of rubber tree clones at old age.
