Popis: | The antihypertensive effect of clonidine has been demonstrated in all grades of hypertension in numerous studies (4, 6, 12, 22, 25, 26). Data on the dose-response relationship for clonidine are only available for the range from 0.300 to 0.750 mg/day (8, 10, 17). In this range, also described as a therapeutic window, there is a close relationship between the hypotensive effect and an increase of the side effects such as sedation and reduced salivation (8, 12, 17). |
