Popis:	The most characteristic clinical manifestations of Wegener's granulomatosis are upper and lower respiratory tract and renal involvement. The central nervous system manifestations are uncommon and occur usually late in the course of the disease. We report a 48-year-old man who presented with an ischemic stroke as the first manifestation of Wegener's granulomatosis. Wegener's granulomatosis should be considered in the differential diagnosis of ischemic stroke even in the absence of extraneurological involvement.
