Popis: | Antibacterial Activities of Indole and Its Related Compounds against Pseudomonas solanacearum, IV. For Part III, see ref. 9A variety of substituted 3-indolepropionic acids and related compounds were synthesized and their antibacterial activities were examined against Pseudomonas solanacearum. In most cases, substitution in the indole ring greatly reduced the antibacterial activity, but some compounds substituted at the 4 position could effectively suppress bacterial growth at a concentration higher than 25μg/ml. |
