Popis: Up to now, there has been no robust, homogenized and standardized method for the design of mechatronic systems. This chapter presents a number of methods to optimize the reliability of mechatronic systems. These methods are based on knowledge and expertise in deterministic and stochastic modeling. The objective is to combine a finite element numerical model describing the physical behavior of a mechatronic system with a stochastic model of its behavior. The results of numerical modeling make it possible to build a meta-model using the response surface. By using this meta-model, the level of control factors is adjusted, the sensitivity of the mechatronic system to sources of variability is reduced (noise factors) and the response of the system can be adjusted to meet the target (objective).
