Popis:	This chapter reviews the role of autologous osteochondral grafting techniques in orthopaedic surgery, particularly the mosaic-like transplantation of small cyclindrical grafts, known as the mosaicplasty technique. A review is given about the research behind the development of the technique and guidelines are provided for successful surgical practice. Comparative evaluations of mosaicplasty versus other resurfacing techniques are also introduced.
