Popis: A three-month-old male suckler calf presented with a history of acute recumbency, anorexia, hypersalivation and subsequent central blindness. The calf was in a group at grass near an old quarry, so concerns were raised regarding primary lead toxicity and supportive treatment implemented. Unfortunately, this treatment proved unsuccessful and the calf passed away.
