Popis: | The demonstration of precursor-product relationships in branched but interconnected biosynthetic pathways cannot be resolved by conventional precursor-product kinetic analysis. Equations are derived for the determination of whether an end product is formed via one or two interconnected biosynthetic routes. The determination of the relative contribution of two biosynthetic routes to the formation of an end product is also described. |
