This article deals with the analysis of possible basic personnel problems in a road-transport industry of the Volgograd region and their reasons which include the raise of an average age of specialists, a lack of specialists of lower and middle rank, insufficient number of graduate students of a road educational program specialization, low order for target training of specialists for the road-transport industry of the Volgograd region, employment of graduates outside the territory of the Volgograd region, low entrance salary, which is offered to the graduate students during their employment, insufficient implementation of the programs of social adaptation and consolidation of young specialists at the enterprises of the road-transport industry.There is made a conclusion that it is necessary to solve problems, connected with improvement of quality of the applicants who apply for road-transport majors of study, expanding targeted training of specialists, organizing practical-oriented training of students in road transport areas, and modernizing educational programs in accordance with the needs of the region,their orientation towards world trends.All proposed solutions are basedon the experience of the university’s international activities and cooperation with leading EU educational centers. The issues of specialists training using distance education technologies are considered. |
