Popis: | A novel reflectarray construction composited with dielectric and metal is demonstrated as a possible low-loss and low-cost solution for a dual-polarization antenna. This construction is working based on optical principle, where the phase shift is realized by varying the height of the dielectric-metal slab. And then, a conical-horn antenna is utilized as the primary feed. With the proposed unit-cell construction, a reflectarray composed of 16*16 elements is designed and simulated, which could achieve a 1.5-dB gain bandwidth of 20.38% and a cross-polarized degree below −25dB. The results illustrate that the proposed dual polarization antenna is well suited for communication systems working at Ku-band. |
