CdTe/CdS Nanocrystals as Down-shift Converter for Si-based Solar Cells with Vertical Oriented p-n Junction

Popis: We present a study of the coating composite layer of CdTe/CdS nanocrystals with polymer PDDA matrix as down-shift converter for Si-based solar cells with vertical oriented p-n junction. Measurements of steady-state and time-resolved photoluminescence as well as optical density were performed to analyze possible features occurred after placed studied layer on solar cell. Obtained results testifies about three types of radiative transitions in photoluminescence spectrum of the cover and this should be taken into account at developing the conception for design of down-conversion layers attached to silicon-based solar cells.
