Popis: | 32nd European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition; 1568-1572 More and more PV systems are installed in deserts with arid climate. Test procedures for PV modules for hot and dry climates are under development. In a comprehensive standard for arid climate conditions, it is necessary to include sand abrasion and dry cleaning resistivity test for PV modules. Two sand abrasion test methods (MIL STD 810G: Blowing sand, DIN 52348: Sand trickling) are compared concerning effects on transmittance and reflectance of PV glasses and PV modules. Additionally, the evaluation of power plants should not only address the modules, but also a proper cleaning concept and anti- sand storm measures. |
