Popis: | 29th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition; 2956-2959 From recent years, there is a trend towards the use of small power generating units connected on the low-voltage distribution system. It has given to the costumer the possibility to be active on demand response, including spinning reserve (delta production). Consequently, it is important to have a good estimation of the available power at the maximum power point (MPP) when the solar PV plant is operating under active power reduction request. This paper presents two new techniques to estimate the available active power at the maximum power point during this state. Our results show the estimation error can be better than 2.5% in more than half of the cases. Initially a small introduction presents more details about motivated legislations which emboldened this investigation and relevant contributions of presented work. The proposed solutions are then developed based on 1) the Single Diode Model (SDM) and 2) the measured current (U/I) characteristic. Finally, some comparison results are presented in a way to testify the efficiency of the proposed solution. |
