Popis: Fundamental limits on the minimum size of a data set is an important problem to estimate dimensions for practical objects, using the Grassberger–Procaccia algorithm. We amend the results previously given by Smith (1988) and Eckmann and Ruelle (1992) respectively, and establish a new inequality $N_{\min} > \sqrt{2}\cdot (\sqrt{27.5})^D$.
