This article discusses the possibility of using elements of digital art in the educational process in institutions of secondary vocational education, the impact of digital art on the integration of general education and vocational training, as well as the importance of digital art for the development of students’ personalities. The authors prepared a brief overview of existing methods of applying the elements of digital art in education, including the example of higher education, and also conducted an experiment to introduce elements of digital art into the curriculum of the discipline «Computer Science» for college students. The results of the study showed that the introduction of elements of digital art in the educational process contributes to the development of a harmonious personality of the student, the development of creative skills and the ability to work independently with information, and increases the motivation of students to study. It has been shown that digital art can also be successfully used in teaching specialties not directly related to art. |
