Popis:	Purpose: to study the dynamics of traumatism, to analyze the injury structure as well as the structure of mortality from external causes in adult population of the Russian Federation. Material and methods. Injury mortality and injury morbidity in adults were analyzed on the basis of official statistical data for the period 20132017. Results. The decline of indices with preservation of gender differences as well as the differences in both the age groups and between the urban and rural population was noticed. Conclusion. Development of complex preventive regional program is necessary to the decrease of traumatism and its negative sequels.
