Popis: This paper study the effect of crack in femur bone of human under axial load with the knowledge of effect of stress change on this crack, and try to find effect of crack in femur bone because it is considered one of the most broken bone due to the initial crack. The model of human femur bone analyzed by finite element and ANSYS Program version 2020 R1, by using the numerical analysis it was obtained the stress distribution map in cracked femur bone of human under critical load case. as a result, for this the study concluded that the crack in this dimensions leads to serious complications as it leads to doubling the amount of stresses on the bone and also the possibility of it turning into a complete fracture through the bone. Stress analysis of a case study of a patient with single edge notch crack in the right femur bone was performed; this crack is perpendicular to the static load. It was found through the results obtained in this paper that the maximum Von-Mises and maximum principal stresses borne by the healthy bone (left femur bone) are 122.750 MPa and 241.480 MPa respectively, and by the bad bone (right femur bone) the maximum Von-Mises and maximum principal stresses borne by the healthy bone (left femur bone) are 42.578 MPa and 31.589 MPa respectively.
