| Popis: | A simple six-step synthesis, from homoveratrylamine, of 5,6-dimethoxy-2,3,7,8,9,9a-hexahydro-1-(p-toluenesulfonyl)-1H-benzo[d,e-1,7]naphthyridine, the first representative of a novel heterocyclic ring system, is described. Various transformation products and derivatives of the ring-system are also recorded. |
