Popis: This chapter reviews Cuba's response to its HIV epidemic. Cuba has had considerable success in limiting the spread of HIV and in caring for those infected by the virus. Much of this achievement is rooted in the nature of, and the broader achievements of, Cuban society, which has seen the development of appropriate health and social care services focused on the needs of people living with or affected by HIV.
