Popis: | A mathematical model of heat transfer in the field of forest combustible material (FCM) with a water barrage was formulated. The model describes the evaporation of moisture at the interface between the dry and wet parts of the FCM, as well as the radiant heat exchange between a high-temperature heating source (flame) and the surface of the material. The solution of the nonlinear nonstationary differential equation in partial with the appropriate boundary conditions was carried out using the control volume method. Based on the results of numerical modeling, a conclusion about the possibility of localizing forest fires using barrage of moisture-saturated forest combustible material was drawn. |
