Popis: | We report electrical transport measurements of single crystals of the organic superconductor κ-(BEDT-TTF) 2 Cu(NCS) 2 in a magnetic field applied perpendicular to the conducting layers. We have studied in detail the vortex liquid phase of this compound and find that up to fields of about 10 kOe, the liquid phase can be perfectly described as a very viscous vortex liquid with activation barriers arising from vortex double-kink generations. Our analysis also results in a value for the superconducting anisotropy parameter γ ≈ 110–130. |
