Popis:	New radiation-induced bactericide metal–polymer nanosystems based on 6-O-carboxymethyl chitin and silver nanoparticles were prepared. Variation in exposure dose and extent of filling with silver ions allowed the preparation of macromolecular systems with silver nanoparticles of controllable size (1–5 nm).
