Popis: | Renewable energy such as photovoltaic (PV) has undergone rapid technological development recently, and become more and more popular to be integrated in micro-grids due to its availability of less expensive space. However, such integration may bring reliability issues due to intermittency and uncertainty of its output power. As a result, back up sources such as diesel generators and energy storage are necessary in maintaining reliability of the micro-grid. Further, with all the components integrated in the hybrid energy system, a dispatch strategy which determines the component output and balances the power flow is also required in the dispatch operation. This paper firstly analyses two different dispatch strategies for the hybrid energy micro-grid with high PV penetration. Then, based on real data simulation, comparisons and conclusions are made between the two strategies regarding to their performances in the dispatch operation. |
