Adrenal hematomas are uncommon and may due to multiple causes. They may be spontaneous or secondary to trauma, subjacent tumor, underlying to iatrogenic cause or anti phospholipid antibody syndrome. We report the case of three patients seen for acute abdominal pain (n=2) and hemorrhagic shock (n = 1), that the morphological examination showed the presence of an adrenal hematoma. This was secondary to thoracic abdominal trauma in one case. In the other two cases, he revealed a malignant lesion underlying the outset in a patient (malignant non-functional pheochromocytoma) and in the radiological monitoring (adrenocortical carcinoma) in the other case. |
