Investigation of carrier transport in a system of undoped quantum wells under pulsed excitation

Popis: A phenomenological theory describing nonstationary carrier transport processes in a system of undoped quantum wells with short carrier generation pulses is developed. An experimental method for finding the characteristic carrier trapping and carrier emission times from the wells is proposed on the basis of the theoretical expressions. The first experimental results making it possible in principle to determine these parameters are reported.
