Popis:	We investigate the idea of reconstructing current densities in a magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) generator channel from external magnetic flux density measurements in order to determine the existence and location of damaging arcs. We model the induced fields, which are usually neglected in low magnetic Reynold's number flows, using a natural fixed point iteration. Further we present a sensitivity analysis of induced fields to current density profiles in a 3D, yet simplified model.
