Popis:	Induced CD Cotton effect in the two electronic transitions of the stable free radical DPPH by asymmetric perturbation/interaction with optically active 2-octanol was observed. The corresponding diamagnetic molecule DPPH2 did not show any observable CD Cotton effect.
