Popis: | In this study, the aim is to obtain new solubility data, correlation equation parameters of 4-aminoantipyrine and thermodynamic parameters in the dissolution process. All this would be useful for optimizing the crystallization and extraction process of 4-aminoantipyrine. The solubility of 4-aminoantipyrine was experimentally measured in mono solvents including methanol, ethanol, 1-propanol, 2-propanol, 1-butanol, 2-butanol, acetone, ethyl acetate, water and binary mixtures (water + ethanol) at (299.05 to 338.35) K and atmospheric pressure by using a gravimetric method. The experimental solubility in mono solvents was correlated by the Apelblat equation, van't Hoff equation, λh equation, nonrandom two-liquid (NRTL) equation and universal quasichemical (UNIQUAC) equation. The solubility in the binary mixed solvents was correlated by the Apelblat equation, van't Hoff equation, λh equation, NRTL equation, UNIQUAC equation and Jouyban-Acree-van't Hoff equation. The correlated values based on all the selected equations showed good agreement with the experimental values. |
