| Popis: | A number of 1-R-3-hydroxypyrazolo [3,4-b] pyridines are obtained by cyclocondensation of a 1-R-5-aminopyrazolin-3-one with β-dicarbonyl compounds. The first step of this synthesis involves the most reactive carbonyl group exclusively and, competitively, the 4-position and the amino function of the pyrazolone. The orientation of the reaction is dependent on the nature of the β-dicarbonyl precursor. |
