Popis:	In Chap. 4 consideration was given to calculus based optimisation techniques. These techniques have been shown to be useful to solve the inverse problem. However calculus based methods have several drawbacks including the possibility of becoming trapped in local optima and the limitation to objectives formulated in a quadratic form which, given the multi-objective nature of the problem, may not be the optimal formulation.
