Popis: | A system of nonlinear equations describing propagation of two successive short high-intensity microwave pulses in a weakly ionized gaseous medium is obtained. The system was derived with consideration for dispersion and an additional ionization. The degree of deformation of the pulse and medium parameters is estimated by means of the numerical analysis. It is shown that, in the pre-breakdown mode, additional ionization may cause substantial absorption of the energy of the subsequent pulse. |
