Popis: The article is devoted to identifying the problems, potential opportunities of using RFID-marking of goods as a means of identification in the context of European integration. The terminology of goods identification is specified in the paper. The priorities of the digitization of the Ukrainian economy under the conditions of European integration and the problems and prospects of marking goods as a means of their identification are identified. The marking shall ensure that the particular product is identified in the event of its return or the need for a special check, etc. The legal field of use of digital technologies in marking of goods is analyzed. The advantages of using RFID tags in marking are investigated. The role of RFID tags for the digitization of product identification is specified. The benefits of using RFID tags to digitize product identification are outlined. This will be another step for the harmonious development of Ukraine's digital economy. Areas of application of RFID technologies (payment systems; identification of people, identification of animals; security systems, control systems; accounting systems for goods, product tracking systems, product management, product management; personal data management systems for employees, customers, etc.) are analyzed. The criteria for identifying goods have been established. Market incentives, systems of motivation, demand in forming needs of use of digital technologies, products (services) by Ukrainian sectors of industry, trade, life spheres are investigated. This will help to increase the levels of efficiency and competitiveness of the economy. A model for the use of radio frequency identification (RFID) technologies in marking goods as an innovative means of identification has been developed. A further area of research is to analyze the dynamics and structure of using RFID-marking products as a means of identifying them.
