Popis: | Eight new tetranortriterpenoids, swietemahonin A-G and swietemahonolide, were isolated from the cotyledons of seeds of Swietenia mahagoni. The structures 1-8 are proposed for these compounds, respectively, based mainly on detailed analyses of the proton and carbon-13 nuclear magnetic resonance(1H-and 13C-NMR)spectra by the use of two-dimensional NMR techniques(1H-1H chemical shift correlation spectroscopy (COSY), 1H-13C COSY, and 1H-13C long-range COSY. |
