Popis: 1.1.Purpose: To report a mini review on interventions for myopia control in children. 1.2.Methods:A systematic review of the literature. 1.3.Results:Peripheral defocus modifying bifocal contact lenses, orthokeratology and anti-muscarinic eye drop treatment are the most promising of common strategies for slowing the myopia progression with varying results. Additionally, outdoor activity has generally been recommended by eye care practitioners as a preventive simple strategy. 1.4.Conclusion:A range of interventions can significantly reduce progression of myopia. To achieve the maximum control of myopia, it is very important to select the most effective treatment for the appropriate type of patient.
