The purpose of the present study is to test whether administration approach (remote vs. in person) yields meaningful differences in data validity of self-report surveys. Specifically, we will randomly assign participants to complete questionnaires in a typical laboratory administration setting (i.e., groups of 4-8; 1-2 research assistants present to monitor) versus remotely in a location of their choosing. Data from both conditions will be examined using multiple data validation strategies discussed previously (Sharpe et al., in press). |
