Popis: Phosphor thermography technique (PTT) is a global optical heat flux measurement method. Phosphor thermography system based on the temperature-sensitivity material has been developed in China Academy of Aerospace Aerodynamics (CAAA), and a brief introduction of PTT is made; the basic parts of this system include phosphor material, calibration systems, UV systems, image acquisition system, and date reductions. CAAA FD-20 gun tunnel is also introduced in this paper. A series of experiments of flat delta plate is performed in FD-20. Global heat flux distribution of the model which shows flow transition is discussed, and a comparison result which is obtained by using traditional heat flux measurement method (thin-film heat transfer sensors) is made; an evaluation on phosphor thermography technique has been made.
