Popis: The process of preparing porous composite ceramic material based on gadolinium zirconate, reinforced with ceramic fiber, including synthesis of a foam-cryogel with the addition of Gd2Zr2O7, the freezing-thawing, drying and sintering, was investigated. Microstructure and phase composition of porous Gd2Zr2O7 ceramics in connection with reinforcement using ceramic fibers are discussed.
