Popis: | Palynological investigations of late Quaternary deposits in an exposure near Anyuysk on the Malyy Anyuy River in the Kolyma Lowlands permitted the identification of two cold phases in the development of the vegetation, corresponding to the Zyryan and Sartan intervals, and two warm phases, corresponding to the Kargin and Early Holocene periods. Studies of the palynology of an exposure on the middle course of the Alazeya revealed vegetation changes reflecting changing climatic conditions during the Holocene; specifically vegetation associations that grew here during the Preboreal, Boreal, Atlantic and Subboreal could be identified. |
