| Popis: | A numerical method for the solution of the (astrophysical) potential problem is presented. The problem is formulated as a free boundary problem for a mildly nonlinear elliptic partial differential equation and the method is obtained by combining Newton-Raphson's procedure and two different types of discretization. The performance of the method is discussed. |
